Widest Awning Kit for a 2019 Forest River 24' Enclosed Trailer

I have a 2019 Forest River, 24 foot, enclosed trailer. It has a raised roof maybe 7’ and is 8.5 wide. I like the idea that this awning is larger than standard size, but would be satisfied with any awning really. My trailer is wrapped so I’d like to NOT hide the side as little as possible although I understand this awning has the uprights that mount to the side of the trailer. My wrap has a title name of business that goes along the top edge of the trailer, and rests about 5” down under the top rail edge. I thought if I could mount this awning either on the edge of the roof, with some type of bracket or even make some flat plate steel pieces that would extend the mounting surface above the edge of the roof allowing the awning to still be mounted in line with the side of the trailer, except up above the lip/roof it would make the wrap more visible when the awning is both opened and closed. Do you think this would work? Do you sell some sort of bracket/mounting kit that would allow this and work with this awning? Could you possibly recommend other awnings that might work as well, and provide maximum shade? I would really like one of the awnings that do not have those uprights, that mount to the side, but I don’t think you can get really large sizes in those and they are cost prohibitive if you do find something. I’d like at least a 20 foot awning not larger than 23’ if possible. The larger the better. A lot of info and a lot of questions, I know. I’m just trying to give you as much info as possible so we knock it out of the park with one message. Thanks so much.

In order to install an awning like the Solera 12V XL Power RV Awning # LCV000334969-362243 on your 2019 Forest River 24' enclosed trailer, you will need to use the Solera Awning Rail Extrusion # LC715217 (x3). The Solera Awning Rail Extrusion # LC715217 (x3) mounts on the outside wall of the trailer and provides the slot for awning fabric to slide into.
We would recommend that you follow the installation instructions and attach this to the side of the trailer, we do not have any sort of bracket(s) designed to allow you to mount the fabric up above the roof line. If this is something you are wanting/needing, then you would need to have something fabricated.
You are also correct that you are not going to get a larger awning without the upright support arms. The largest we have other than the style with the uprights is the Thule HideAway Awning # TH64WJ which is 12'3".
For the size of awning you are wanting, the Solera 12V XL Power RV Awning # LCV000334969-362243 is the best option that we are going to have.
