Question:
On my 2016 Chevy Traverse, do you need both bypass fuse switches? Do I need the one under the hood and the one that hooks to your battery and mounts to console? Or will just one do the job?

Both bypass switches are needed in order for you to flat tow your 2016 Chevrolet Traverse; the reason for that is because they are different types of fuses (at different locations, as you pointed out), so both switches are needed, the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch - 50 Amp FMX Fuse # RM-76517 and Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch - (2) 20-Amp ATC/ATO Fuses # RM76514.
I have added links to video installations of both bypasses being installed on a 2016 Traverse for you to take a look at. Along with the fuse bypasses, the other parts needed to flat tow your 2016 Chevy Traverse are the following:
- Base Plate Kit: Demco Classic Base Plate Kit # DM9518304
- Tow Bar: Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511012
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Supplemental Braking System: Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
OR
- If RV has air brakes: Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motorhomes with Air Brakes # SM99243
Additionally, I have added links to instruction manuals, video reviews and installations for you to take a look at of these part as well.
