For your 2016 Chevy Traverse you'll need the following components:
Baseplate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523175-5.
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates # e74ZR. THis tow bar comes with safety cables bracketed to the arms so that you don't have to purchase them separately or worry about them dragging on the ground.
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode wiring kit will splice into your Traverse's tail light wiring to display your motorhome's traffic signals through the tail lights.
Braking System: If your motorhome has hydraulic brakes you'll want the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 and for air brakes you'll want the Demco Air Force One # SM99243. Both of these systems will permanently install in the vehicle so that you won't have any setup to complete when it's time to tow your Traverse.
Since the brake light switch wire in your Traverse isn't useable you'll need to also install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751221 to connect to the indicator lights of either the Air Force One or Stay-IN-Play.
You'll also need to remove three fuses in order to flat tow your Traverse. To make this as easy as flipping a switch I recommend using the following fuse bypasses:
Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch # RM-76517 for the BATT1 fuse located in the engine compartment.
Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch # RM76514 for both the ECM and ONSTAR fuses located in the fuse box behind the passenger seat.
