Question:

Is there a minimum distance between d-rings required for safe towing a 2003 jeep wrangler when using these with a falcon all terrain tow bar? The ones on my bumper arent as far apart as my base plate that I use now.

Expert Reply:

I was able to reach out to Roadmaster on this and the minimum distance allowable when towing with the Roadmaster Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts # RM-035 (3/4") or # RM-035-1 (1") and a Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522 is 22" apart.

If your D-rings are not at least 22" apart you will need to keep using the base plates.
