When your bumper has extended D-ring tabs, standard adapters can come up short. These Roadmaster brackets are designed with extra clearance so they line up perfectly with 1" thick shackle mounts, even on bumpers that stick out farther. They attach right where the D-rings mount and lock in using 7/8" or 1" diameter holes, giving a solid connection without extra fabrication.
If you already run one of the Roadmaster motor-home-mounted tow bars, this adapter keeps your setup consistent. It works with models like BlackHawk, BlackHawk All-Terrain, BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain (RM-422), Falcon (RM-520), Falcon 2, Falcon 5250, Falcon All-Terrain (RM-522), Nighthawk All-Terrain (RM-676), Sterling, and Sterling All-Terrain (RM-576). You simply replace the quick-disconnects on your tow bar arms with these adapters and you’re ready to hook up.
Connecting these adapters is fast and direct—remove the D-rings from the bumper and slide in the tow bar arms. Each kit includes (2) 3/8" nylon lock nuts, 4 nylon washers, (2) 1/2" x 2-1/2" shoulder bolts, (2) 5/16" linch pins, 2 hitch pins, 2 round nut adapters, 2 tow bar adapters, (2) 7/8" sleeves, and (2) 1" sleeves. Everything locks together securely so you can hit the road with confidence.
These brackets are built tough to handle off-road setups and long towing runs behind your motor home. I know that this adapter is meant to work with all Roadmaster motor-home-mounted tow bars. Which tow bar do you have? Would you be able to send a picture? I would be happy to take a look for you.
These worked great with our 22' Bronco's tow hooks on the stock modular bumper.

Work just fine but I recommend upgrading the pins, as on of them broke on our first trip. The ring came off which is an important locking feature.
I thought i was going to have to remove my after market bumper w/winch so a base plate would fit....nope this product fit perfectly and one third the price and ez install.

These are good quality, but I wasn't able to use them. They are too big for the d-rings on my bumper and they moved and clanked around while towing. I wound up having to buy the "RM-035" adapters which are 3/4" thick. Don't be like me, measure your d-ring width BEFORE ordering the adapter, you may need the other size.
D ring was 1” and the adapter is a little less than 1”. I think we will be able to grind the bumper hook to fit.
