Will Fittings of Rhino-Flex Sewer Hose Fit 3-3/4 Inch Bumper
Updated 02/19/2020 | Published 02/18/2020 >
Question:
I need to replace my 4 inch bumper. The thin wall has deformed from the bike rack. I am going to install a 4 inch square tube with 1/8 inch wall thickness verses the .70 inch wall thickness. It is supposed to be 3-3/4 inch inside dim. I am trying to find the outer dimensions of the fittings to check fit.

The fittings of the RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose with Swivel Fittings, 4-in-1 Adapter, and Storage Caps # CAM39761 will not fit in your bumper that is 3-3/4 inches (the bayonet fitting on this is the standard 4-3/16 inches), but the fittings are actually not designed to fit in storage areas, they are meant to be stored separately.
The RhinoFLEX comes with storage caps, which is what are meant to be used with the hose when it is stored in your bumper. The hose itself is 3 inches in diameter so it will definitely fit, it is just the fittings that need a separate holding spot.
I have added links to a couple video reviews for you to check out as well of the RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose w Swivel Fittings, 4-in-1 Adapter, and Storage Caps # CAM39761.
