can you tell me the distance between the bolt holes on the top of the side plate?

The distance from the two bolt holes on each side bracket for the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13702 is right at 8-5/8" (center to center). I have also attached a diagram to assist.

This adjustable hitch will fit frame widths that are between 18" and 51".
