The power wire on the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56434 for your 2020 Toyota RAV4 will need to be run from the powered converter on the harness at the rear of the vehicle, up to the engine compartment and connected to the battery. If you check out the installation video linked to this answer, you'll notice how when you remove the driver's side paneling inside the rear cargo compartment, there is a small black grommet. You'll use the included 12 gauge wiring to connect to the black power wire on the converter and run that length of wire through the grommet to the undercarriage of the vehicle.
Once you've run the wire to the undercarriage of your RAV4, you'll want to run the wire over the axle. You'll then remove the protective paneling as shown in the installation video and run the rest of the wire behind that protective panel to the front of the vehicle; you need to re-attach the panel once this is completed. From here, you can use a hanger or some other rigid, thin object to pull the wiring up through the engine compartment so that you can attach it to the battery terminal.
To make the attachment to the positive battery terminal, you'll want to use the included fuse, cut the wire loop and splice one end into the power wire; on the other end of the fuse loop you will use the included ring terminal to attach that to the positive battery post. Once you've made the connection to the battery you'll want to install the fuse. This will give you a fully operational 4 way trailer connector for your 2020 Toyota RAV4.
You may want to use some heat shrink butt connectors for this installation, which are not included in the wiring harness kit. You can use the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05745-5 for those parts.
As mentioned previously, I've attached our installation video of a wiring harness on a 2019 Toyota RAV4, which the 2020 will use the same process. You can use this video to reference back to during the installation process.
