Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve Installation

Question:

I am confused as to which of the valves I should get. I presently have a Valterra cable valve 3in in my black waste line. I have been thinking about changing to the 3 in Valterra EZ valve electric waste valve. While going through the questions on of the experts stated he would not go with E1003VP because you would need extra parts. What extra parts would be needed? From what I can see the E1003VP would come with everything needed to replace the cable valve. Could someone please clarify this. My question is as a result of the answer to Kristi Ws question ,How to Choose the Correct Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank

Yes you are correct Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank part # E1003VP does come with everything you will need. The confusion came from the spigot or hub ends and which one they needed for their application in that question. With a valve that is currently in good shape you will retain your current spigot or hub setup and this valve will simply bolt in between replacing your current valve. This is a great solution because it won't require you to cut and repair your current connections. Just unbolt the old valve, remove it, place in new valve then mount and wire your switch. Sorry for the confusion in the answer I had to read it twice to understand myself. I've included a picture of it mounted. Happy Camping!
