Does Base Plate for 2019 Jeep Wrangler with Steel Bumper Replace Skid Plate

Question:

Will this base plate fit in front of the steel cover under front of Jeep. Is there any cutting of the steel plate needed for install of this base plate? I have seen some of the base plates that go on some of the Jeeps where the plastic cover has to be cut out.

When installing the Demco base plate kit on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler like your Rubicon you end up removing the skid plate under the vehicle and replacing it with the diamond plate skid plate that comes with this. There is no drilling required to install the base plate though.
