Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this TowSmart ProClass 4-Way to 7-Way and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector. Now, this socket's going to give you both the 7-blade and 4-flat outputs from your existing 4-flat wiring. So you'll just plug this into your existing 4-way flat plug, and then this end will securely connect to the back of the housing, and then you're gonna be able to have a 7-way and a 4-way. This is going to install permanently on your bumper or bracket.
It's gonna be ideal for vehicles towing different types of trailers. The molded housing is going to include these weather caps here. The 7-way is spring loaded. The 4-way isn't, just so you're aware of that, but it's gonna keep those connection points clean. You're not gonna have to worry about road grime or debris getting caught up in there when they're closed.
So it includes everything that you see here. And let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements. So looking at the width, about 3-1/2 inches. The overall height, about almost 3-1/2 inches tall. And then the overall depth end to end, right at about almost 3-1/4.
And just the housing itself, not including the socket, almost 1-7/8 inches, just to give you a good idea of the size. Obviously you'll need to connect these other wires to activate your 7-way.
