Need a fifth wheel hitch for my 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 8 foot bed i dont have a factory puck system. whats the best option?

I recommend the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVK3500-5W and the custom underbed installation kit part # BWGNRK1020-5W for the 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 8 Foot Bed Without factory prep package. The B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch features 1" thick jaw that allows for full contact with the trailer king pin to reduce rattling and chucking that you may experience with looser king pin connections. The best thing about the B&W Companion is that you will have full bed access when the hitch is removed because the custom install kit installs under the bed. It doubles as a Turnover ball goose neck hitch in the bed as well if you need to tow a goose neck trailer.

I also highly recommend to add Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness 7-Pole part # C56000 to give you a 7-way plug in the bed to make it easier to hook up/unhook the trailer. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
