Question:

I have a 2000 13 ft scamp trailer RV with a A-Frame coupler but there is no identifying names or numbers on it I need to have a replacement coupler kit because the spring is gone bad thank you

I do have an option for you but the trailer coupler repair kits are model specific so in order to obtain the correct one you will need to know what exact model you have. That said, the sticker with this information can wear off which it sounds like is the case for you trailer so there is not going to be a good way to identify it therefore a trailer coupler repair kit is not your best option unless you just want to keep purchasing different kits until you find one that fits. Although this is an option and I have even attached a link for you that lists all the options we have a much better solution would be to just replace the trailer coupler which I am sure sound a bit more daunting that it actually is.

I recommend the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler part # DM14793-81 because of the foolproof eZ-Latch system and the bolt-on installation which means all you need to do is remove your old coupler by grinding down the welds and then bolting this new one on without any welding required. The best part of all is we have a coupler repair kit for this if anything where to happen, the Demco Composite eZ-Latch Repair Kit for 2" Ball Couplers part # DM6109 but keep one of these on hand just in case.
