Hello: Regarding trailer replacement couplers. Is there any difference in the coupler for an a frame tongue vs a straight tongue?

Yes there is a difference between couplers for an a-frame trailer and a straight tongue trailer. They are a very different design so if you have an a-frame trailer you'd need something like the # CA-5210-B which you can see matches the shape of the a-frame or for a straight tongue you'd want the # CT-3002-Z.
