What kind of trailer load will this move without over stressing the ratcheting mechanism?

The Extreme Off-Road Ratcheting Trailer Jack # ORJW1SU has a static weight capacity (load support) of 770 lbs but ARK does not do a test for dynamic load rating, so it's hard to say what kind of trailer load this jack could move.

If you're looking for something specifically designed to move your trailer farther distances, I recommend the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive # TVXL25 with a 2-5/16" hitch ball or # TVXL2 with a 2" ball. Both designed to move trailers with up to 1,000 lbs TW and 10,000 GTW and feature a high and a low gear which can be operated with wither the incorporated handle or an 18 volt drill for added convenience.

The box states that the jack is capable of moving 'up to' 4400lbs.

@JesseM Any chance you have instructions for changing out a broken ratchet knob? They have a tendency to break if you don't pull the knob out enough when changing the function (F, R, N).

@Jason I am not seeing we have any instructions specifically for that. I bet if you reached out directly to ARK they would be able to tell you how to do that .
