Dragging a trailer across uneven ground or soft terrain is tough on plastic caster wheels. The Ark Xtreme Off-Road Jack w/ 2 Wheels uses heavy-duty steel wheels with flat-free rubber tires that grip instead of slide. The treaded design provides traction through mud, gravel, and sand, and the sealed bearings keep the wheels turning smoothly without wobble or drag. It’s rated for a 1,100 lb static load and built to move confidently where typical jacks can’t.

Getting the tongue to the right height doesn’t have to mean endless cranking. The spring-loaded handle lets you drop the inner tube quickly into 1 of 4 positions, taking care of most of the lift before you even start turning. The jack offers 10-3/4" screw travel and 7-1/2" drop leg travel, adding up to 18-3/8" total lift. The sidewind crank fine-tunes the height so you can hook up, level out, or park in minutes without stacking blocks or guessing at clearances.

Once the trailer’s hooked up, the jack stows tight alongside the tongue. The easy-to-grip swivel pin handle swings the unit up and locks it parallel for travel, while the yoke latch offers 5 wheel positions so you can choose the best clearance setup. With the wheels locked in place, there’s no rattle or spin on the road, and the bearings stay protected for smooth rolling next time out.

Rain, road salt, and off-road grit won’t wear this jack down. The square steel body provides extra side-load strength and stability, while the black zinc finish resists rust and corrosion with a 600-hour salt spray rating. A built-in grease zerk makes it easy to keep the screw lubricated for smooth operation. It’s built to handle years of hard use, from storage pads to backcountry trails.

The removable magnetic hand crank attaches firmly when you need it and stores away when you don’t, keeping travel clean and snag-free. The oversized handle gives good leverage when swinging the jack, and precision-machined tubing limits chatter during operation. Every part of this design focuses on smooth, stable movement—so repositioning your trailer by hand is simpler and faster every time.

Do not use this jack to move your trailer if it's extended past this "max moving height" line.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Arc Extreme Sidewind off-Road Jack. This Jack is going to support lift and lower your boat or recreational trailer. And this is going to bolt around your trailer's tongue with the included mounting hardware that you see here. As you see, I do have it kind of loosely assembled there.
And lemme go ahead and give you some information about this jack on your screen. This is gonna work with your two inch to six inch tall jacks and this has a static load capacity of 1100 pounds and a total lift of 18 and three eights inches and a screw travel of 10 and three quarters inches and a drop leg travel of seven and a half inches. Now there are other measurements available such as the bracket height. You can find all that information on this product page. So this will stow safely and easily out of the way.
And the, what we have here is a handle here is an oversized handle that's going to let you swing this jack up parallel to the tongue. Now obviously I don't have this mounted to the trailer so that's gonna be very difficult for me to try to show you to demonstrate that for you. But this is gonna be the handle that you're going to use to swivel this out of the way. And once you have this mounted, it's gonna be very easy to use and this is going to really rise and lower with hardly any issue whatsoever. It's a very smooth operation as you can see.
And then the wheel is going to lock into place when you lower this. So you can see that this is going to turn with no issue whatsoever. Lemme get that wedge back into place there. And then when you lower this, we have this bolt here, peg, whichever, whatever you wanna call it, that's gonna lock back into the holes here. We got a set of holes here depending on your orientation.
And so once that's locked in you're not gonna have to worry about that, about these wheels moving around when you have this in the stowed position. So that's a nice additional feature that we have here. The handle is removable, it's magnetic as you can see, so this can easily be removed and put in like your vehicle or your trailer locked up. So someone can't come by and easily adjust this. We do have a smaller U-bolt handle right here that's going to let you position the drop leg quickly and easily. Gonna be able to secure it in one of four positions. That's gonna help reduce the time and effort that you spend cranking this. The treaded tires that you see here are going to be able to take you places that regular plastic caster wheels can't. You're gonna have more traction here and agility in off-road conditions. These are flat free rubber tires so they'll never have to be inflated. And the dual steel wheels here are going to give you excellent stability. The diameter of these wheels is eight inches, the width is two inches, so this won't shake or rattle during operation. The precision, the machine tubing is going to limit chatter and this is going to do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion with the black finish that this features, it has a 600 hour salt spray rating, so this should last you many years to come. It's of a durable steel construction. There's a a really good weight to it. So I really think it's going to be very durable. I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. And again, this is designed for extreme off road conditions, so it's gonna take you through rough terrain, mud, things like that. So that's what this has been designed for. Like I said, if there's other bits of information that you're looking for specifically with measurements, make sure to avail yourself to this product page for that information if you need it. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Mounted it easily
Extremely heady duty
This thing is great. You get what you pay for. It looks good, very strong, and rolls around on marginal terrain rather well. It is really a bit over dutied for my application which is on the front end of a M416 trailer.
Shipping from etrailer was very fast.
Good design
Great product. Have not installed yet. Quality much better then your average trailer jack
This is a solid trailer jack but NO WAY should the customer have to insert the bearings into the wheels! I have never seen such a thing and they were IMPOSSIBLE to get them in! I had to pay the guy who welded the jack to my trailer to install them. For $300+ dollars this should not be necessary!
The box that the jack came in was literally falling apart and held together with zip ties! I’m amazed it made it in one piece! Not impressed.
Great tongue jack. So much better for one person to move the trailer. Some have complained about the bearings not being factory installed. It is very easy to install them if you have any mechanical aptitude at all. Great look in black.

That is awesome to hear and I definitely agree, it is easy as long as you know a little bit about what you are doing! What kind of trailer did you install this on?
Loving it! Easy assembly and the quality is amazing. Probably over kill for my 5x8 carry-on Overland trailer.
Much better than the standard trailer jack. However, like other reviewers, I needed to purchase longer bolts for my application. At this price point, bolts in various sizes should be provided by the manufacturer.
Installed on my 2010 Road Runner trailer for my Nautique 211 Crossover. Much more heavy duty than the old original jack. This jack is heavy so it is really a 2 man install job with one person holding the jack in place while the other installs the bolts and nuts. But once the bolts are in place and you're happy with the location then you just tighten it down. The operation is super smooth and easy with lots of adjustability to get the height just right. Great design and very well constructed.
Great jack, install was simple. Heavy duty, great replacement for junk jacks that come from factory.
I love the Ark Xtreme jack's features/implementation. I also love the black option as well. I replaced the same model Ark Xtreme jack that came with a camper trailer I bought. The original jack was unfortunately twisted/torqued enough during transport/delivery of the camper that the original didn't have good sliding adjustment, which definitely limited the usefulness and range of the jack.
The new replacement works as it should - flawlessly.
