I am trying to find the right hitch for a 2004 Ford F150 FX4. Have had no luck so far.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13357 will fit all models of the 2004 Ford F-150 with or without vibration dampener as long as it does not have a factory installed hitch. We currently do not have any hitches that fit the F-150 with a factory installed hitch.
If the 2004 Ford F-150 has a factory 4-flat you can use Tow Package Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector part # 118247 for a 7-way plug.
If your 2004 Ford F-150 has a factory 7-way and you need to replace it you can do so with Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # C55774.
