Getting trailer lights wired shouldn’t mean cutting or splicing factory wires. The Curt T-Connector plugs right into the existing factory tow package connectors on the driver-side frame near the rear bumper. It’s a clean plug-and-play install that keeps your vehicle wiring intact while giving you a working 4-way flat trailer connector.

Today we're going to take a look at this Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for the factory four-way tow package.Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1997 to 2004 Ford F150 trucks with the factory four-way and 1997 to 1999 Ford F250 light duty trucks with the factory four-way and on a custom fit part like this I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, putting your year and model vehicle. It'll show if this'll work for your application.Now this will provide the four way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights. And it is designed for use with the factory four-way tow package.
It is compatible with five pole, six pole and seven pole adapters that we do sell separately.And this does connect very quickly and easily. There's no cutting or splicing wires. Basically. You just locate these connection points, which are under the vehicle behind the rear bumper on the driver's side, plug in these T-connector here, ground your white wire, and then run your four-way out towards the back and connect to your trailer.It does come with this nice dust cover that you could install onto your four-way, and you can leave it on there if you prefer. What's nice about is when you're not plugged into a trailer, you can put that cover over the terminals, just like that, and it'll protect them from any damage or from the elements.It does also come with some cable ties to take up any slack in the wiring.
Nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how to install it. And also this grounding screw. When you go to install this after you make your connection, you do need to ground this white wire. It has the outlet on it. If there's a ground nearby you can attach it, if not you can use the included ground screw to make your own ground, but that should do it for the review on this Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for the factory four-way tow package..

Wiring needs to be a heavier gauge, other than that it's plug and play.

Easy to install. I had to drop the spare tire to get the connection for the harness, yet worked instantly once lugged in. As usual you guys are awesome to shop with.
The connector clicked in very nicely. I was replacing a broken factory 4-flat connector, so i unwrapped and cut off the existing wires from the factory connector, snapped this guy in place, re-wrapped it and zip tied it up. If it weren't 35 degrees and windy i would've been done in 15 minutes!

Stacy was very helpful, keep me informed about order status and delivery. She got me the right wire harness after I ordered the wrong one. Haven't been able to get it put in, temperatures are in the upper 90's
