You can use either a fuse or an auto-reset circuit breaker on the power circuit for the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000. Since this unit draws 30-amps with a 1,700-lb load a 30-amp breaker like # PK54530 will allow all needed power to reach the jack. You'll use ring terminals # 44-5310A, 10-gauge duplex wire # 10-2-1 and butt connectors # 05732-2. The copper color post on the breaker goes to the battery.
