Can 30 Amp RV be Powered from 50 Amp Power Source
Question:
I have a 30 amp RV and a 50 amp surge protector. Can i plug the surge protector into the 50 amp service and dogbone to my Rv or use adapter to plug surge protector into 30 amp service and dogbone to my 30 amp RV?

It's very common for people to use a 50 amp power source on a 30 amp camper like what you are trying to do. Basically you'd want to use the 30 amp surge protector after the dogbone 50 amp to 30 amp adapter like the part # A10-5030FBK that you referenced. This protects your 30 amp RV from overdrawing.

I have a 30AMP trailer in which I use a 30 AMP surge protector. I will be staying in a park that only have 50AMP service. Can this adapter be used in this instance, and do I connect my 30 AMP surge protector to this adapter without any issues?
