The package came quickly!
We have been using the Watchdog for the better half of the season since we had to replace our power cable. It had a burnt end due to a poor hookup at a campsite. Nowwe can test our hookup before we connect our trailer. There is also an app that helps monitor the connection. The best thing about the Watchdog is that the replaceable surge protector.

Its been well over a year that we have been using the Watchdog and there have been at least three times that we have connected to fault outlets. We have also survived two power surges in the past year. I highly recommend using a Watchdog or any reputable surge protector to protect your RV.

This will hopefully save me from ruining my wires in my camper with uneven power coming from pedestals.
I really wanted to like these mirrors, but I have to give them 2 stars as they vibrated so much they were literally unusable and I couldn't really see out of them. I made sure the thumb screws were completely tight as well and they still shook. When returning home from my trip I discovered that they left adhesive on both of my mirrors from the foam pads that I had to remove (see pic). I think I would have been better off to order a set of mirrors that snapped onto my existing mirrors and had a tighter fit which would cause less vibration.
This arrived just in time for my trip. Straight forward usage and easy to understand LED codes. The surge protection rating is perfect for my RPod trailer.
Love it. Always watching it. lol super nice being able to see what I got for read outs. I was at a state park and must of been last on a daisy chain of electric peds. Cause I was super low on volts so I did some load management and ran my water heater and fridge on gas. When ever it dropped below a set number it would let me know. Super convenient

One of the best purchases I have ever made.
I havent used it yet but I hhave seen great reviews of the product and etrailer had it for a good price and shipping was quick.
Delivery was on time everything went very well n smooth very happy
We only tried it so far using house power but with all the green lights it's very easy to use and should be a great help while camping.
This product is outstanding! Whenever I connect to shore power, and see the green lights on my Watchdog Surge protector, I'm confident that my trailer will not be damaged by incorrectly wired power post. We were at an RV park in September, and when I plugged in the Watchdog, it's lights told me the power post was not wired correctly (polarity was reversed). Instead of plugging in my rig, I found the owner of the park, showed him my protector, and he rewired the power pole. After correcting the problem, my Watchdog gave me all green, so I was able to plug in my trailer. Not sure if any of the expensive electronics in my rig would have been damaged by plugging in, but I potentially avoided an expensive and inconvenient repair by having my Watchdog. I will never travel without it.

So far it is working well. Here in central Pa, we get frequent thunderstorms and knowing that a power surge isnt going to fry our campers electrical system is a bit of peace of mind. Also, even though I try to shield it from the weather as much as possible, it still occasionally gets drenched and still keeps right on going!
Tried it out this weekend, worked great. Bluetooth works well.
Hardware looks sturdy and well constructed. Would like to have the face of the display aligned with the front of the connector, but I think I can remedy that. I'll unscrew the connectors, add some silicone grease to the O-rings (I hope that I find) inside, and put it back together square.
Software could be better. The one most important metric I'm looking for is peak Amperage when my A/C starts up, and I'm not getting a good number there. The display doesn't update continuously, and the peak power usage is just a moment in time, so I get a reading just before the peak and another reading just after the peak.
Would be great if the iPhone app was upgraded to give an option for "Peak Level" like is common on audio devices. That, or a line graph of the last minute or so, with a Y-Axis where I could find the Amps at the peak.
Two stars deducted for the lack of a vital software feature and a slightly sloppy assembly. For the money, I'd expect both.

As an update to my first review, I spoke with tech support who told me the inrush amperage value I see is not an average for the time period, its the peak for the time period. If I knew how to add back one of the stars I subtracted in my first review, then I would. But I dont, so youll have to read this to know that my _updated_ review is Solid Four Stars
Product came quickly with great communication from Jacob F. Its what we needed. Just bought a new trailer so will be back ordering things for it with Jacobs help.
The shipping was very fast. The surge protector looks very good and seems sturdy. I really like the Bluetooth connectivity. The app shows how much power you are consuming. Very nice product!
I purchased ths for added protection for my camper. I love the quality and design of the surge protector,and highly recommend it.

The surge protector is doing great,I highly recommend it for every camper.
The ”Power Watchdog Surge Protector with Bluetooth – Portable – 30 Amp” works exactly as advertised. It was easy to set up, performs flawlessly, and offers excellent value for the price. One of my favorite features is the Bluetooth capability.
Shipping was fast, and the product arrived in perfect condition. My only minor criticism is that the package was shipped without an outer box, making the contents obvious during transit. While this didn't affect the condition of the product, an overpack would have provided a little more protection from possible shipping/porch theft.
I highly recommend this product. The Power Watchdog surge protector is a quality product, and both the manufacturer and the e-tailer have earned a solid 5-star rating from me.
