Can Maps, Music and Phone Calls be Made when Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller is in Use

Question:

It says you can’t use your phone for music or maps but can you still call and receive phone calls without interrupting the controller?

You can still use the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller part # C51180 with music playing from the phone or using it for maps. It can also make and receive phone calls as well. The reason there's a note that says it may not be ideal for if you use maps or play music from your phone is because you'd be switching between apps. The Echo can run in background though while other apps are in use.
