Question:
I have the P2 brake controller from my older Chevy Suburban. Is there a harness that will be plug and play on my new 2018 Chevy Suburban, so that I can reuse the P2 controller?

If your 2018 Chevy Suburban has the factory tow package then yes, you can use the Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3016 to install your Prodigy P2 # 90885 brake controller.
If your Suburban doesn't have the factory tow package then you will need to use the pigtail # 7894 to splice into the blunt cut wires under your driver's side dash. A circuit test like part # PTW2979 would be helpful to ensure you make the proper connections:
Blue - 7-Way Output to Trailer
Black - 12V Power
White - Ground
Red - COLD Side of Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake pedal is pressed)
You then simply need to plug this into the back of your P2. Please note that with this option you may need to install the Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors # 30955 and make some connections under your hood. Attached are installation instructions and a helpful article to assist you.
