Can 30 Amp Adapter # A10-G30430VP Be Used with Generac XT8000E

Question:
I know the plug will fit, but my question is about how much power Ill be getting. To my understanding Im only using one leg of the 240v 30 amp circuit. So I get half the volts and get down to 120, seems like I only get 4000 watts as well, but does that mean its only 15 amps as well? The breaker on the 30 amp for my generator is a 2 pole breaker which is why I figured half the amps as well. Spec sheet seems to make me think Ill be good but I just dont understand electrical enough to be confident. Any info on this subject would be much appreciated.

Looks like your generator uses a standard 240 volt 30 amp style connector which would use both pin on the female side of the # A10-G30430VP you referenced. For connecting your generator to a 30 amp socket on an RV this adapter would work well. It will transfer 30 amps like needed.
