For a trailer hitch that is a confirmed fit for your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 and will allow you to haul a 6,600 lb trailer, I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C14006. This trailer hitch is a direct bolt-on fit and it will allow you to retain your spare tire. It is also made in the USA. I have attached an install video as well as a photo for you.
In order to help preserve the life of your vehicle's suspension as well as increase performance while in tow, I strongly recommend a set of suspension enhancements, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57204 in particular because they are adjustable so you can get the perfect amount of comfort/support.
