Question:
etrailer - Good morning. I have a Thule 9029. I am wanting to purchase the Thule STL2 Snug Tite 2 Hitch Lock. Would the Replacement Cable for Swagman Bike Rack Item # S2005 work with the Thule STL2 Item # THSTL2?

We have just what you need but we can't recommend the Swagman # S2005 you mentioned.
You instead will use the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2 and then a cable lock like # TH538XT which can be keyed alike using the one key system # TH450200.

I wouldn't use the full swingman locking pin, just the cable if it fits the locking pin/bolt that come with the Thule T2. I wouldn't put the cable on the threaded side, just the unthreaded side. The Thule T2 classic come with the snug locking hitch bolt THSTL2. Is the metal hole on the swingman lock cable S2005 large enough that it will slide over the unthreaded end of the Thule bolt, but still small enough that the Thule lock on the end of the unthreaded side will keep it on there?
