Is the Thule No Sway Cage Bike Stabilizer TH955 Necessary for a Thule Parkway Bike Rack

I am contemplating buying a Thule Parkway 2 Bike carrier - Th958. Do I need a Thule Sway Cage Bike Stabilizer 753-3530, so the bikes dont hit easch other in transit.

You do not have to have the anti-sway cages, # 753-3530, if you do not want them. However, using them greatly reduces the movement of the bikes and I think it is well worth it to add them. I know on my Thule bike rack, before I strap the anti-sway cage to the bikes they do move quite a bit. But after strapping the bikes to them, the bikes hardly move at all.
