Recommended Suspension Enhancement to Reduce Rear Sag on 2015 F-150 with WD System
Question:
I have a 2015 Ford F-150 with a 3.5 liter eco boost 4x4 6 1/2 ft bed. I use a weight distribution hitch and still get some truck suspension sag. The trailer weight is approximately 7500 lbs with a tongue weight of 825 lbs.. Which suspension enhancement product would you recommend? If possible I would like a product that would keep the rear of the truck at the stock height when it is not loaded. Thank you for your assistance.

To reduce the rear sag on your 2015 Ford F-150 that you're still getting when hooked up to the trailer I recommend adding the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2582. An air bag system like this will allow you to adjust the springs to both keep the truck level when under a load and maintain a comfortable ride when you're not. These will not affect the stock height of the truck when you aren't towing and the bed is empty.
I really like the double-convoluted construction of the Firestone air springs which provide maximum support and help them to hold up great over time. I have attached an installation video that you can use for reference along with the written manual.
I also just recommend making sure that your existing weight distribution system is rated properly for your setup. Your total tongue weight, which includes the loaded tongue weight of the trailer along with any added cargo weight behind the truck's rear axle, should fall comfortably within the operating range of the system.
