Question:

I have a travel trailer with tandem 3000 lb Dexter axles spaced 35 center to center. The dry wight is 4700 lbs, Will this equalizer work with this trailer?

The Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit - Double-Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 8,000 lbs # K71-653-00 will most likely fit your assembly but may not offer as much cushion as desired for your small axles.

You may instead want to consider the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 3K to 6K # LC279687 or the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 5-5/8" Equalizers # K71-652-00. These systems do have equalizers that adjust from 5-1/4 inches to 6-1/4 inches instead of the 7-3/4 inches, so longer shackle straps or springs may be needed for your axle spacing. If you measure your equalizer from center of bolt to center of bolt at the outer edges you will determine the fit needed.

Your other option is to add shocks like the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks - 3,500-lb (2-3/8") Axle # LC281255 to assist with shock absorption. I've attached a video to assist.
