Replacement Switch for Kwikee Double Steps

Question:

Hello, I just purchased a 2009 Tiffin Allegro Bus with a double Kwikee Step unit. The door switch is badly corroded and I would like to replace it. It is the rectangular WIRED type, with ONE wire connected to a screw in the MIDDLE of the switch that is on the frame of the coach. I have not removed the magnet portion of the switch that is on the door, but perhaps it too should be replaced while I am at it. This switch looks like a common magnetic security switch used in wired alarm applications. Can I use a similar switch available at a home improvement store or is this specialized enough that I can buy the correct switch from you? I have attached a photo showing numbers and design. I spoke with my contact at Lippert who said that all of the Kwikee steps use an open circuit switch so the replacement Lippert part would be # LC369299.

He did also say that there is nothing specialized about the switches so if you can find an open circuit switch magnet at a home improvement store then it will work just as well.
