Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today, we're gonna take a look at this TowSmart vehicle-end six-round pin trailer wiring socket. Now, when you're towing a trailer that's gonna need more than just lights, this six-round pin socket gives you the extra connections you're gonna need. It handles circuits for the running, turn, and brake lights, plus additional power lines for accessories or trailer brakes. It's built for setups that'll go beyond your basic four-way wiring. Now, this socket here is designed to mount on the vehicle side, gives you a nice sturdy weather-resistant plug point.
And as we mentioned, the round pin design locks in securely with a standard six-pole trailer connector, keeping the link tight and reliable even when towing over rough roads. It is a universal fit. Works with any standard round pin trailer plug. You just wire it once and you're set up for consistent power and signal flow every time you hook up your trailer. So whether you're connecting electric brakes, auxiliary power, or charging lines, this socket's gonna give you room to expand your trailer set up.
Also, if you do have any other additional questions regarding this part or any other item that we do carry, please feel free to reach out to us so they can help you get all of your questions answered for you. But that's gonna do it for a look at this TowSmart vehicle-end six-round pin trailer wiring socket.
It doesn’t fit on the blue ox base plate. Only the blue ox socket fits

Sorry to hear that, Rolf. I am also a little surprised. I went out and measured the mounting holes for the # TS92SR you purchased as well as the Blue Ox # BLU43XR and they were exactly the same at 2-3/4" (center to center). Is it possible the posts on the base plate are slightly bent out of shape?
