The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2018 Lexus RX 350 is the etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch # e94AR because it has great towing capacities, installs easily, and because it has a concealed cross tube which means it won't be quite as visible as most hitches. I attached the installation instructions for you to check out.
For trailer wiring I recommend the T-One kit part # 118252 which is a confirmed fit for your RX 350 as long as you have the factory tow package. It installs without requiring any splicing and also has the most reliable converter box available.
Since you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.

I read somewhere that even with the plug-in setup that rx350 has from factory to plug in the wiring harness there’s a need for a relay still so the the wiring can work. Do you have that relay too?
