Can the Yakima SkyRise Tent be Used with the Rhino-Rack Track Mount Roof Rack System

Can I order another bar for this rack? So that way I can have three bars holding a roof top tent.

I cannot speak for all roof top tents but if you are referring to the Yakima SkyRise Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars part Y07436 then yes, it will work with the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System part # Y02-490B. So long as you do not exceed the 400 lb weight capacity of the SkyRise Tent you won't have any issues. The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack has a 220 lbs weight capacity but the ladder included with the SkyRise Tent will add additional support and allow for up to 400 lbs. We have customers install these tents on top of camper shells all the time.

Yes, you can add another crossbar to the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System. However, this will not increase your weight capacity as the Yakima SkyRise Tent will only clamp onto two of them. If you need to hold more than 400 lbs then you can upgrade to the Yakima SkyRise Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars part # Y07437 which has a 600 lb weight capacity. This system also uses the ladder for additional support which allows for up 600 lbs. The roof rack only needs to be rated up to 165 lbs for the SkyRise Tent and since your roof rack is rated up to 220 lbs, there should not be any issues with weight whatsoever.
