Will EcoHitch Fit with Bumper on a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta SEL

Question:

The installation videos seem to show a notch in the bumper where the receiver sticks out. Is this a feature only on trim options because I dont see one on the lower portion of the bumper on my 2016 Jetta SEL. Will this actually fit with my vehicle as indicated by the eTrailer website? I would prefer to have the hidden cross bar but if this only fits certain trim models I will have to install a different receiver in order to tow with my vehicle.

Yes, the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7311 will fit your 2016 Volkswagen Jetta as indicated by our fitguide. If you check out the attached photo from the installation instructions you can see that there is actually some trimming of the bumper that must be done to complete the installation. This actually gives you a pretty clean looking installation as the receiver portion sticks out from the lower part of your bumper.
