Do you have a trailer hitch that fits a 2014 VW Jetta Sportswagon TDI? All my search results say that the Turbo Diesel TDI model is excluded. Thank you

Hello Susan,
I completely understand why the wording on our page might be confusing, it’s a bit wonky at times. You’re right to question it, but I can confirm that the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver – Custom Fit – 2" # 306-X7284 will fit your 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen Turbo Diesel (TDI) model.
To bring some light to the confusing part I’ve attached an image where it says “excluding Turbo Diesel” and then “Turbo Diesel models” right below it. What this actually means is that it fits both the Turbo Diesel and non-Turbo Diesel versions of the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen, in other words, all models for that year. I also attached a great review from the page confirming the fitment and noting that you may need to cut the bumper a bit more than the directions suggest. I’ve seen that mentioned in a couple of reviews, so I wanted to give you a heads-up.
I’ve tried to get this wording removed when a part fits all versions of a vehicle, but as you can see… I haven’t won that battle yet.
If you’d like to pair the hitch with wiring for a hitch-mounted accessory or very light towing, I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. For a clean, finished look, be sure to add a # 18136 mounting bracket and the # C42CR no-drill bracket.
