Adapting a Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 1-1/4 Inch Hitches to Fit a 2 Inch Hitch

Ive spoken with Kuat about my NV 2.0 with a 1.25inch shank. I have a 2.0inch hitch. Im looking at your part #D101 as a solution. Kuat does not recommend an adapter for the NV but I was wondering what your experience is with this product? Or, is a better solution to purchase a new 2.0inch shank? Thanks.

The issue is not with adapter # D101. You can use that adapter to use your Kuat NV in a 2 inch hitch. That is why Kuat made it. They were probably thinking you meant an aftermarket adapter such as # HTAD. The use of an adapter like HTAD will void the bike rack warranty. But the use of # D101 is perfectly fine!
