Will a 4.80 x12 tire work on a 3x 12 rim

Expert Reply:
A 4.80-12 size tire will only fit on a 12 x 4-inch rim such as the one in wheel/tire part # AM30670 and wheel # AM22319HWT. The smaller tire size 4.80-8 like item # AM10002 that you referenced will fit an 8 x 3-3/4-inch wide rim but again not a 12 x 3-inch one.

Do please note that a trailer wheel is measured from bead seat to bead seat, not edge to edge. You can refer to the linked photo to see this.
