Determining Towing Capacity of 1989 Chevy C3500 Dually
Published 12/19/2018 >
Question:
The vehicle in question is a two door, extended cab 4x4. I am looking at buying a car trailer and I can’t find any info on tow capacity of my vehicle. Data tag typically located on door jam has been removed.

Best option would then be to try contacting a Chevy dealer to see if they could possibly look it up online. Due to the age of the vehicle there isn't any info I can find for it. If the truck has a 454 cubic inch engine it looks like it may have a capacity of around 8,000 lbs, but that's the best info I was able to find.
The Curt hitch part # C15325 that you referenced does fit your truck though.
