Question:

Ram 1500 4x4. I travel full time towing a 28 ft pull behind. I added about 400 pounds tongue weight for a solar system. Would the SSC 33 or 50s beef up the rear coils better. I also want to add the sumo springs. FITS 2017 Ram 1500 SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle

There are two Supercoil options for your 2017 Ram 1500. We have the part # SSC-50 which has a 475 lb capacity and the part # SSC-51 which has a much higher 2,480 lb capacity. The lighter springs will give you a lift of 3/4 inch while the # SSC-51 will give you a lift of right at 2 inches and will be much harsher. If your factory suspension handled everything well before adding the solar system I'd go with the lighter duty springs. If not I'd recommend the heavier duty setup. More is always better as you end up making the ride unnecessarily rough.
