Choosing Between Upgraded Rear Coil Springs for 2019 Ram 1500 Classic

Question:

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. I am wanting to upgrade the rear coil springs. I am looking at the part # SSC-50 which has a 475 lb capacity. Is the 475# capacity additional to the factory rear springs capacity? I guess I dont understand. Looking at the SSC-51 which has a much higher 2,480 lb capacity. I am pulling a 24 travel trailer wit a 660# tongue wt. which would you recommend. Thanks,

In light of replacing the rear coil springs on a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic for towing you have two options, the SuperCoils Custom Suspension Coils part # SSC-50 which has a 2,058 lb weight capacity and part # SSC-51 which has a 2,480 lb weight capacity. These are the total weight capacity per coil and not in addition to the factory coil springs which are rated much lower. I recommend the SuperCoils Custom Suspension Coils part # SSC-50 as this will be the perfect option for both support and ride quality.
