Is the #12234 hitch fits the Matrix AWD XR 2011 ? Do I have to cut the bumper ?

The CURT hitch you would want for your 2011 Toyota Matrix AWD XR would be a CURT Trailer Hitch # 12221. I attached installation instructions for you to check out also. You will need to trim the lower fascia to install this hitch.
The CURT Hitch # 12234 that you referenced is not a confirmed fit for your vehicle so I would not recommend it for you.
