The one review daid the instructions for the rav4 ecohitch were not good. Are there good instructions now included, are these hitches truly a better rust resistant construction? thanks

I have linked the installation instructions of the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch # 306-X7219 that fits your 2018 Toyota RAV4 for you to check out so you can make up your own mind on if they are good or not because the quality of directions is a pretty subjective thing.

The EcoHich isn't necessarily made of better corrosion-resistant materials than something like the etrailer # e98864, it simply states it has a black powder coat finish that offers protection against corrosion, though so do the other hitches for your RAV4.

What the EcoHitch does have is an alloy construction from recycled materials combining aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
