I want a hitch for my 2017 Toyota Rav4 Limited hybrid. I need help in choosing the appropriate hitch for the vehicle.

There are a few trailer hitch options for the 2017 Toyota Rav4. All the available systems are confirmed to fit the Hybrid models as well.

I recommend the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch # C13149. This is a 2 inch receiver opening with a 525 lb tongue weight capacity that is custom fit for your RAV4 Hybrid.

If you are looking to tow with your trailer hitch, I also recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56350. This harness is custom fit for your vehicle and will plug directly into existing wiring to provide the 4-way flat trailer connector needed to power your trailer's rear lights.

If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

I have a 2018 rav4 hybrid SE and I was wondering what would be the best hitch price wise and fit for towing a PWC?

The Curt # C13149 will work perfectly on your 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid SE. It's a simple bolt-on installation and comes at a really nice price point. You'll also need a wiring harness to power the trailer's signal lights. For this I recommend the Tekonsha # 118578, which will plug right into factory ports in the rear cargo area.

13149 does not bolt up to 2018 Rave4 Hybred Limited. I just sent on back to Amazon. When you see instructions it said not electric!

I believe the electric model is separate from the standard Hybrid model of the RAV4. We've had quite a few customers install this hitch on their Hybrid RAV4 without issue.

@ChrisR I have a Limited and the holes bid not line up! Needed to be about 1/2” further apart. I could hardly get a bolt started on one side and couldn’t see the hole on other side.

@Paul I'm really sorry to hear about all the trouble you're having. It's very possible that the hitch is just bent a little, which is actually pretty normal. I linked an article dedicated to this issue below that should hopefully help you get the hitch in place.
