Question:
I have a tow dolly that I am looking at putting the Kendra 205/75R14 on. the Load rating is 1875. I am towing a Honda Fit that wieghs approx 3200 lbs. Is this tire rated for the Fit. I do not understand what the 1875 max load means. Thank you.

I can't seem to find the exact tire you are looking at with that load specification, but I can tell you that is the maximum capacity of that tire. The maximum load listed on the tire is the absolute maximum weight that tire can handle, so you multiply that load by 2 because you have two matching tires per axle and that gives you the load capacity (based solely on the tires) for that axle. That axle capacity can be reduced by the wheels, the axle, the springs or any other component. The weakest component in the system is your maximum capacity of your tow dolly. The vehicle weight would be between the dolly and the rear tires of the vehicle.
For your 205/75R14 Tires, I recommend the Taskmaster ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # TR20514. These tires are rated for 1,760 lbs at 50 psi and also speeds up to 81 mph. The load range C gives you a ply rating of 6 ply. This tire also has automotive grade sipes for better traction in wet or snowy conditions.
The similar Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10234 is rated slightly higher 1,925 lbs @ 60 psi and speeds up to 81 mph. I've attached video reviews of both tire options to assist. Either option will work well on your tow dolly carrying a Honda Fit.
