How to Install the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack Part # JET-3755

Question:
I am a beginner and do not get how to wire the Stromberg JET-3755. It came with a red and black fuse and long black chord coming from the motor itself. Is there a diagram or better instructions on how to wire this to my new travel trailer? I want to get the wiring done here at the house before I go to the storage facility and get it mounted to my travel trailer. Thanks for your help,

The Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack part # JET-3755 is very simple and easy to wire. So much so that they do not even provide you with a diagram. The jack grounds though the mounting hardware so the only wire you need to attach is the black power wire which will need to be ran to the positive side of the battery on your trailer with the in line fuse placed 6" from the battery.
Unfortunately, none of the above can really be completely without the trailer present but the good news is it should not take you more than 10 -20 minutes to do so.
