Can I rotate the motor head 90 degrees to accommodate side accessibility? Thanks

Yes, the a-frame jack mounting holes are concentric therefore you can rotate an a-frame tongue jack such as the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack part # JET-3755.
