Question:

I have a 2010 toyota highlander w/o tow package. I would like to install a motorcycle rack and hitch. Any recommendations?

The carrier I recommend is the etrailer, part # e98873, because it's lightweight but still has a 500 pound capacity. This makes it easier to mount into a trailer hitch and also takes up less of the vehicle's available tongue weight as well. This carrier is also equipped with a 39-3/8 inch long ramp to make it easier to load the bike.

The hitch I recommend for your 2010 Toyota Highlander is the etrailer.com Class III, part # E98858. It's similar to the Curt, part # 13534, that's also a fit for your Toyota but the Curt requires you use a stabilization strap, part # 18050, in order to be compliant with their warranty. The etrailer.com hitch doesn't have this requirement.
