The Timbren rear jounce spring kit you referenced, part # TGMRYS4, is a confirmed fit for the vehicle you indicated, a 2010 Chevy Tahoe, as well as several other GM vehicles noted on that item's page.
Thank you for your photo that shows the different profiles of the original jounce bumper and the Timbren replacement. You'll note that the OEM part has a rounded leading edge to allow it to seat all the way into the cup. The Timbren has a straighter profile and since it is new and has not suffered any shrinkage from exposure it may just not be getting all the way in.
My tech contact at Timbren said all you need to do is grind off a little bit of the Timbren spring's leading edge to give it a slightly rounded profile, more like the original OEM part. Timbren indicated this step is not very unusual.
