Which wire adapter should I purchase to install this in a Chevy Avalanche?

Helpful Expert Reply:
To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 in your Chevy Avalanche that has a factory-installed 7-way trailer connector you will use existing OEM wiring that is under the dash to hard wire it. There is no quick-connect brake controller port in your model year Avalanche; there was one included up to model year 2006 and this used part # 3015-P. You can use wiring pigtail # 20127 to give you the wires needed for connection.
On the controller pigtail the wire colors/functions are:
Black wire is for +12V power connection
Red wire is for taking in the brake light switch signal to trigger the controller
Blue wire is for controller output that runs to the 7-way
White wire is ground
