Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: Spacer Kit for Timbren Suspension Enhancement System

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at this Spacer Kit for the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System. Now this spacer kit is designed to adapt your Timbren Suspension Enhancement System to your lifted vehicle. Now, this kit will include everything laid out here on the table. It'll include two of the one inch thick rubber spacers, two of the 1/2 thick rubber spacers, does include the bolts, and there's three different size bolts.

You got two of the 2 3/8 inch long bolts, two of the 2 9/16 long bolts, and two of the 3 1/8 size long bolts. It does come with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how these install. But basically, to determine if you need this spacer kit for your application, What you'll do is measure between the frame of your trunk when it's empty and the rear leaf spring. And this spacer kit is required for measurements that'll measure between six inches and 7 1/2 inches. This will help fill the space between your suspension system and the lifted frame.

Now, you can mix and match the spacer sizes to fit your vehicle, but you wanna make sure to use the correct length bolt for the correct spacers or spacers that are gonna be used. So basically, if you're just gonna use the 1/2 inch thick spacers, what you'll want to do is use the smaller 2 3/8 inch long bolts. If you're gonna use the two one inch size spacers, you'll use the 2 9/16 long bolts. And then if you're gonna use a one inch and a 1/2 inch one combined, then you'll use the longer bolts which are the 3 1/8 inch long bolts. But that should do it for the review on this Spacer Kit for the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System..

I ordered the bump stop spacer package cause I forgot to order it originally and I tore the bump stop bracket off when I was out offloading and so I ordered the space kit and for some reason it skip my options for shipping so I reached out to Jason and he upgraded to second day shipping they arrive Thursday because tomorrow they’re going to weld back on the bump stop bracket and put the bump stops on

by:

Great kit came exactly as ordered easy to install and made the Truck handle so much better when towing!

by:

Very good quality and easy to install. Needed the extra 1 1/2 shims because my tundra has a factory 3" lift.

by:

Daylon and the team were an incredible help! Got me the product very fast!

by:

Bought this because I had a leveled and adda block to the rear if my truck. It should work well to keep the proper distance and keep from looking nose up.

by:

After my initial purchase, I determined the kit needed an additional spacer for my 2023 F350 Dually. I contacted customer service and they immediately shipped me the spacers I needed. Thank you etrailer.

by:

Bought these for my 13 toyota tundra with spacer kit because of the lift, used them for hauling my camper, did not need weight distribution bar anymore pulled good, also use this for my 7x14 dump trailer hauling gravel made a big difference, dump trailer weighs 4400lbs and would haul 3yards of rock regularly

by:

The bolts that come with it is not long enough to use both of them together

by:

Worked for what intended

by:

Super fast service. Super easy install!

I
had been having problems with both the factory bump stops and replacement stops lasting for any longer than a year or two. They would completely come off from just daily on/road use. Replaced them with the Timbren stops and my ride has been the best it’s ever been since I have had the truck. On road or off didn’t matter. Has done particularly well this winter off/road while working on a construction site. No bottoming out or heavy swaying while hitting those ruts and bumps onsite. The truck was lifted 6” and I had to get spacers which I forgot but etrailer sent them very quickly and I installed them with very little effort. Was surprised how little time it actually took me. Didn’t have a lift so had to use jacks which took up the most time on the install. I’ve had them on for a year now and would say it’s one of the best products I've ever put on my truck. Wish I had done it years ago.

by:

Bolts supplied in spacer kit were wrong threads - Not compatible with Timbrens..Threads on the Timbren brackets had to be chased with thread dye. Package arrived 3 days later than stated - To late for planned when’d trip. I think 3 stars is very generous - Only gave 3 stars because of information provided by etrailer along with reviews & videos.

by:

great product reasonable price Phone staff very knowledgeable and helpful

by:

Arrived a day sooner than expected. Took about an hour to install. Left side a little bit harder. Just like video said. Haven’t hooked trailer yet but looking forward to it. Very pleased. Have used on 2 trucks in the past and was very pleased with how it preformed

by:

Good product so far and fast shipping.

very happy with the product

by:

Great fitment

by:

The spacer kit fits perfectly and is exactly what we needed to get the truck sitting right.

by:

Mounting was a snap. Left 1/2 inch gap and did the trick. Delivered fast and complete.

by:

They caused my metal pads to rust did not like that hell water

by:

When combined with the Timbren suspension enhancement system the supplied bolts are not long enough.

by:

I paid extra shipping to receive it before I needed to haul my boat to Lake Powell. It didn’t show up until the day the free shipping date was. So I had to have my friend tow it for me.

by:

This is a really great product I definitely will be ordering again. I have a 2016 Nissan Titan XD with a 5 L Cummins turbo diesel and these thing came quickly and just in time for me to hook up that 40 foot gooseneck and hit the road and to believe I almost bought airbags.

by:

So I recently had two product purchases from etrailer, my Timbren load suspension upgrade and my truck bed camper frame mounted hold-downs, both to be installed on my 2016 3500 Ram. The installation and performance of both of these products went very well. I received great phone support from etrailer operators, as my buddy and I have in the past. It was my buddie Mikie who originally recommended your Company from numerous purchases he has made with you.

by:

I think the timbren where the best choice for keeping the sag down on my truck while pulling my camper I didn’t want to deal with inflating and deflating air bags all the time so the timbren seemed like a better choice they work well for me and thanks to etrailer for there great customer service and fast shipping and prices

  • Can Timbren Kit # TTORSEQ1 be Used on Lifted Vehicle
Hey Matthew, yes the Timbren kit part # TTORSEQ1 that you referenced would work great on a vehicle that is lifted but you have to use spacers to take up that extra space created like with the part # T68MR. How big of a lift does your vehicle have?

  • Can I Use the Timbren Spacer Kit w/ a Severe Service Timbren System on a 2023 Ford F-250?
Yes, it does. The Spacer Kit for Timbren Suspension item # T68MR will work with the Severe Service Timbren Suspension Enhancement System item # TFRTT350J. This system is confirmed to fit the 2023 Ford F-250. It already includes a pair of 1" spacers. When installed these spacers make the item # TFRTT350J system 7" tall. I have attached a diagram below. If you don't want need to buy the full kit, you can buy the 1/2" spacer item # TA25722-90P00 or the 1" spacer item # A25723-90AH00 separately....

  • Is There A Spacer Kit For Timbren SES To Fit A Lifted 2007 Chevy Silverado 3500
Yes, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK35S can still be used on your 2007 Chevy Silverado even though its been lifted. You'll just need to install a spacer to get the gap between the Timbren and the axle around 1" to 1-1/2" to prevent a rough unloaded ride quality. The Spacer Kit for Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T68MR can be used to eat up some of the space from the lift.

Welcome back! The Timbren Spacer Kit item # T68MR is exactly what you need. They have a 3/8" bolt hole opening that will work with the Timbren item # TGMRCK25D you purchased awhile ago. Timbren recommends a 1" gap between the jounce spring and your axle.

  • Recommended Timbren Suspension Enhancement for a 2022 Nissan Frontier
Unfortunately Timbren does not make their Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSOSR kit without the axle bracket, so if you don't need it you'll just ignore it and install everything else. To figure out if you need a spacer kit #T68MR you're going to need to measure between the frame of your trunk when empty to the rear leaf spring. If you measure anything between 6" to 7 1/2", then you're going to need a spacer.

  • How Much Space Should There Be with Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops On 2007 Toyota Tacoma
The Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops part # TABSOSR which are a fit for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma are designed so that there is more space between the spring and frame to allow the suspension to articulate freely when off-road. If you're looking for a spring which is closer and provides support sooner you would instead want to go with the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TTORTUN4 which is designed to sit around 1/2" to 1-1/2" from the frame. If the truck has been lifted you...

  • Timbren Suspension Enhancement For 2024 Toyota Tundra With 3-1/2 Inch Lift
Hi David, There is an option for bump stops for your 2024 Toyota Tundra with a 3-1/2 inch lift by using Timbrens, you'll just need a spacer kit and some extra spacers to go with it. So what you can use is the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T45MR, Spacer Kit # T68MR, and a couple of the Timbren 1" Spacer # TA25723-90AD00.

  • Suspension Enhancement Kit for 2024 Toyota Tundra With Factory Lift
Hey Mark, I recommend going with the kit you looked at, which is Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Rear Axle # T45MR along with Spacer Kit # T68MR. If you had a camper on the bed, or had the rear end maxed out all the time, then I'd recommend the Severe Duty Kit # T65MR, but I doubt you need that. If you used it and didn't actually need that much support, then your truck would suffer from a rough ride all the time.

  • Best Suspension Enhancement for 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 with Camper in Bed
Using a spacer kit like the # T68MR to allow one side of the truck's suspension to engage sooner will give you more support on that side but since it's hard to say if that will happen to be the sweet spot you are looking for in terms of support it's not what I would recommend as an ideal solution. The best suspension enhancement solution I can recommend would be the RoadActive Suspension Kit part # RAS3611-CHD which is easily adjustable in support on both sides, installs very easily, and...

Since your Tremor has a lift from the factory you will need the Spacer Kit item # T68MR to get the desired 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap between the jounce spring and the axle pad. While the spacers included in the Kit # T68MR will work with your Timbren Springs # TGMRYS4 they do not use the same mounting bolts. Your GMC Yukon uses 3/8" hardware while the spacer kit includes M10 hardware so you would still need to source the longer bolts in your 3/8" thread size.
